Blind Love (Lies and Deception)

A web of deception I have spin,

Now I lay here thinking of my sin,

I am tangled up in my lies,

It seems to me I have fallen in the dark,

Both of us are worlds apart,

It’s crystal clear that we will never be,

You claimed you know the very core of me,

What that you know are lies that seems true,

A mist I have left to blind your sight,

Now you have not a clue of what is right,

Fools we have both been,

We allowed ourselves to fall in this blind love,

This is not a love story,

With lies as the beginning and tragic as the ending,

I shall leave this story untold,

Though my inner voice tells me it will one day unfold,

But in this night and in this hour,

The day we collided will haunt me forever.
